About

I am Linguist.

The name is a promise. I am Linguist is a German language institute built to turn learners into confident, fluent speakers, with a strong emphasis on accurate grammar and crystal-clear pronunciation.

Portrait of the linguist.
I started teaching because every other program I tried treated grammar like a wall. The real wall is confidence. Once a learner trusts their own voice in German, the rest follows.

Goethe and TELC aligned method · German since 2017 · Experience at AXA and Amazon.

Why this exists.

My journey with the German language began in 2017. Over the years I developed a strong command of German grammar, structure, and linguistic nuance, with special emphasis on clear and accurate pronunciation, learned directly from a native German teacher.

My professional experience at global companies such as AXA and Amazon helped me grow in communication and real-world language use. That experience is why the teaching goes beyond textbooks and into how people actually speak at work and in interviews.

I founded I am Linguist to help students learn German correctly, confidently, and with purpose, opening doors to global education and career opportunities. There is no campus, no franchise, no tele-sales team. There is a linguist and a small group of learners working through a real path, one cohort at a time.

What I believe about learning German.

  1. 01

    Confidence is the bottleneck.

Grammar can be re-taught later. A learner who trusts their own voice in German keeps going. One who does not, quits.

  2. 02

    Pronunciation is a respect signal.

How you say the first word tells a German native whether to switch to English or keep going in German. The first two weeks earn that signal.

  3. 03

Small enough to know by name.

A small, personal batch exists for accountability. If you cannot ask the coach a basic question in front of the group, the batch is too big.

  4. 04

    The learner is an adult.

No gamification, no infantilizing, no over-promises. Adult learners come for real outcomes, on a real timeline.

Speak it. Mean it.
